Action To Make Local Steps Safer At Night

9 Jun 2025

The Focus team have heard from several residents who have seen drug taking and antisocial behaviour on the King Charles Steps on the edge of The Park Estate.

Castle Ward campaigner Lloydie James Lloyd has reported this to the local police and been promised extra patrols in the area, especially in the evening, to help reassure local residents and keep the area safe.

“I’ve seen and reported this myself, and I know others have too. If you see any antisocial behaviour, please report it by dialling 101 or go to the Nottinghamshire Police website. The more we all report it when we see it, the better chance we have to make this a safer area for everyone”.
